Painted steel rear cab with roll-up door for trucks

The Daken ZEN rear cab with an aluminum roll-up door is ideal for use on specialty vehicles thanks to its space-saving opening mechanism.

Equipped with an ergonomic nylon handle featuring a locking cylinder and PVC gaskets to prevent the entry of water and dust.

  • Manufacturing process: laser cutting, bending, TIG laser welding
  • Finish: electro-galvanized steel with black/white* epoxy powder coating*
  • Thickness: 1.5 mm
  • Closure: anodized aluminum roller shutter with nylon handle – anodized aluminum side guides – locking cylinder
  • Manufactured in accordance with IATF standards

ZEN is Daken’s line of metal toolboxes for trucks, trailers, and semi-trailers. It includes models made of stainless steel and aluminum, available in various finishes, thicknesses, and locking systems. Manufactured to IATF standards and using a welding process compliant with ISO 3834, ZEN toolboxes provide IP5K9K-rated protection against water and dust and undergo vibration testing equivalent to one million kilometers under full load. The line is also certified in accordance with UNECE Regulation R73 for use in side protection systems (certification E57 73 R – 010017). ZEN boxes combine design, durability, and load protection and can be customized in terms of dimensions, materials, handles, and finishes to meet specific installation and usage requirements.

Yes, welding processes are managed in accordance with the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 3834 standard, which defines quality standards for the welding of metallic materials and the control of the production process.

This standard ensures that production is carried out using controlled procedures, qualified personnel, and quality control systems throughout the entire production cycle.
